Poggioantinora guided wine and tasting tour in Chianti

To all our Guest we are always happy to plan some guided tour in the Chianti hills, this is one of the best tour with food and wine tasting, of course this tour is an extra charge.

"PoggioantinorA" dates to the 1200's when it was build by the Brandani family. The estate perches on top of a lovely hill in the heart of Chianti Classico district not far from the historical town of Radda. The property is comprised of 125 acres of which 62,5 consist in vineyards, 10 in olive grove and the rest part is covered by secular oak wood; the Company has also a well equipped celllar.
The current owner is Luca Brandani, Agrarian Expert specialized in Vinicolture and Oenology, He is a skilled entrepreneur with passion for innovation: he focuse on traditionale technologies as well as on modern machines. With this very special combination, Luca has transformed PoggioantinorA  into a leader within the wine-making industry of Chianti. The Poggioantinora mainly production is about Chianti Classico wines. By the way the Estate proposes two different lines of products: the old style and the new style.
Moreover, at the PoaggioantinorA wine farm there is also a Museum of rural culture founded by Lucas's wife, art historian and museum expert Laura Masucci. There is also an other part of the estate dedicated to photos gallery, with photos made by a member of the family in the early years of the past century illustrating jobs in the fields, villages, parties and portraits.

Tour A: guided tour + 3 wines + crackers
Tour B: guided tour + 3 wines + fettunta with Poggioantinora's extra virgin olive oil
Tour C: guided tour + 3 wines + fettunta with Poggioantinora's extra virgin olive oil + Grappa or dessert wine
Tour D: guided tour + 3 wines + fettunta with Poggioantinora's extra virgin olive oil + Grappa or dessert wine + fresh and aged cheeses or ham and salami

Lunch or dinner in the wine farm

Here you can book your lunch or dinner with typical and rare traditional dishes of Chianti area, made with the original tuscan old recipies, combined with our best wine, at restaurant "La Peghera di Baccio" in Radda in Chianti.

Transfer Services

We can also book for your transfer or shuttle service from one of our accommodation and back by private ancient car or minivan for 8 people, with guided tour of the farm, wine tasting and possibility of lunch to the Peghera di Baccio in Radda in Chianti.
